The Mandela Institute for Development Studies (MINDS) is now accepting applications for its regional training workshop in Civic Education focusing on Elections and Governance. The aim of the workshop is to create awareness, enhance knowledge and develop relevant skills in Electoral and Governance processes and Leadership among participants, in order for them to effectively communicate and apply them in influencing and mobilizing other youth to actively participate in the processes and other community and national development activities.
This is a great opportunity for African youth to interact as they interrogate and deepen their understanding of issues of mutual interest pertaining to the development and transformation of the Continent. To encourage networking and full participation, between 30 -35 youths will be accepted from each region.

Venue: Senegal

Eligibility
- Open African youth interested in civic education
- Applicants must come from one of the following countries: Senegal, Guinea-Conakry, Sierra Leone, Liberia , Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Burkina Faso, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
