The Obama Foundation is inviting civic leaders from around Chicago, the U.S., and the world to come together to exchange ideas, explore creative solutions to common problems, and experience civic art, technology, and music. They are inviting incredible young leaders who are passionate about social change and civic engagement to apply to attend.
On October 31st and November 1st, they they will converge in Chicago for a two-day immersive event in Chicago. During this inaugural Summit, hundreds of leaders from around the world will come together to exchange ideas, explore creative solutions to common problems, and experience civic art, technology, and music from around the world.
Cost and Benefits
Selected applicants will receive an invitation via email by October 1, 2017. Attendees selected through Obama.org will be responsible for covering costs associated with travel and accommodations, however, need-based assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis.
Eligibility
- They are inviting people from around the world to attend the Summit, but they’re saving a handful of spots for applicants through Obama.org.
- Incredible young leaders who are passionate about social change and civic engagement to apply to attend.
- The ideal candidate is active in their community, and will bring a unique perspective to share with other attendees.
- No matter if you’re from a rural town or a big city, they want to hear about the positive impact you’re having in your community, and why you should join us in Chicago.
