The African Leadership Academy (ALA) is now accepting applications for its 2015 admissions. African Leadership Academy seeks to enable lasting peace and prosperity in Africa by developing and connecting the continent’s future leaders. ALA seeks to enroll the most outstanding young leaders from across Africa and around the world – ALA is not only looking for young people who are smart and excel in the academic environment, we are looking for young people with the potential to lead and impact the world around them through their courage, initiative and innovation

- a smart & outstanding student from across Africa
- must have a strong potential to drive change.

Online Application could be submitted online. Applications are available in English, French and Portuguese.

- 15 October, 2014: Early decision deadline for first round candidates from Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Candidates from these countries who do not apply early decision will have until December 12th, 2014 to complete their applications.
- 14 November, 2014: Regular Decision 1 deadline for first round candidates from Botswana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Lesotho, Malawi, Morocco, Mozambique, Rwanda, Swaziland, Tunisia, and Uganda.
- 12 December, 2014: Regular Decision 2 deadline for first round candidates from all other African countries and the rest of the world.
- January-February, 2015: All candidates notified of their first round status. Those selected as finalists will be invited to interview with the Admissions team. Candidates with earlier submission dates will be notified first. All first round applicants will be notified by February 28, 2015.
- February-March, 2015: Finalist interviews will be conducted with candidates from across Africa and the world.
- April 15, 2014: All finalists notified of their admissions status by April 15th. Candidates who apply through our online portal will be able to check their application statusonline. Financial aid awards will be made by April 30
- 15 May 2015: Deadline for accepted students to finalize their enrolment.
