Deadline: July 15 and August 12, 2018

Creative submissions from young people wanted! The Youth Sub-committee is currently looking for submissions from youth showcasing their work inspired by the sustainable development goals at the 67th UN DPI/NGO Conference, ”We the Peoples.” The conference will take place 22 – 23 August 2018 at the UN Headquarters in New York, USA. Tell UN DPI/NGO about yourself and how the Global Goals have inspired you through Video testimonials, Art posters and Film submissions.

This conference is an opportunity to discuss concrete ways to take the UN’s people-centered mandate forward, in closer partnership with civil society. The re-positioned UN development system will offer a platform for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to work more effectively with the UN to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development – and to communicate and advocate for it.

When making your videos, think about why Multilateralism is needed in ending poverty, addressing climate change, forging equality and ensuring access to education are important to creating a more peaceful world. Additionally, think how youth play a valuable part in Multilateralism and achieving the SDGs by 2030.
