The Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) are two of the toughest examinations. JEE is the exam attempted by students willing to pursue engineering courses. JEE is held in two stages- JEE Main and JEE Advanced. IITs are the top engineering colleges in which students get admission. IIT preparation involves preparation to gain admission to the reputed engineering colleges. Preparing for these entrance exams can be taxing. So, let us discuss some tips and tricks to make the process less stressful.

1. Get Hold Of The Relevant Online Study Materials

The first step to begin your JEE preparation is to source the online study materials required for the entrance. This will help you focus on the topics that are included in the syllabus. The solved examples and summaries in your study material will help in increasing your knowledge.

2. Create A Timetable And Stick To It

You need to follow a specific schedule if you want to crack one of the toughest competitive exams in the country. The timetable should be made in a manner ensuring that every subject is given equal importance. Consistency is the key to cracking these examinations. You need to be focused and committed. Students often pull an all-nighter one day and not study the next day. But if you want to crack the examination, you should not take too much stress on one day. It would help if you made a timetable and dedicatedly followed it every day.

3. Get Rid Of Distractions

There will be many distractions in the path of your JEE preparation. You should be responsible enough to remove such distractions. Do not spend too much time on social media. It is normal to feel frustrated. You can always take a break. But do not let any distractions divert your focus from your studies. Remove all useless things from your life to ensure that your focus remains in place.

4. Stop Procrastinating

You should be able to finish every task on time. Set small goals for yourself and try to achieve them within a stipulated period. The habit of procrastinating things should be eliminated from your life. Do not leave things out and think that you will complete them later. You need to take everything seriously and complete all your tasks on time.

5. Assess Your Performance

You should give tests every day and check how your JEE main preparation is going. You should try to finish the tests within time. Solving practice papers and the question papers of previous years will help in enhancing your knowledge further. Depending on how well you do in the tests, you will realize where you stand. You will be able to focus on your weak areas and try to improve.

Conclusion

Preparing for JEE and IIT can be stressful. It is essential for every aspirant to stay focused and motivated. Taking too much stress can hamper your preparations. Hopefully, the suggestions provided in this article will make your preparation process a little easy.
