Deadline: November 30, 2024

Applications are open for the Yves Rocher Foundation Terre De Femmes International Award 2025. Launched in 2019, the International Terre de Femmes Award is a thematic prize open to all women worldwide. It rewards on-the-ground actions carried out by a woman or a group of women within a non-profit organization.

In 2001, Jacques Rocher created the Terre de Femmes Prize within the Yves Rocher Foundation, now recognized as a public utility, which supports nearly 500 women around the world who are committed to protecting nature. Because tomorrow is being preserved today, because the climate emergency requires all the most active forces, they have conceived the Yves Rocher Foundation Terre de Femmes International Prize as a prize open to all female citizens of the world committed to the protection of nature.

This environmental dimension is complemented by a considerable social and societal impact. By collectively supporting this great adventure for nature, they are helping to build a better tomorrow for present and future generations. As such, in 2025, they are launching the seventh edition of this prize on the theme: “Coastal ecosystems, dynamic environments between land and sea”.

Award

  • The prize is €10,000.

Eligibility

  • Open to women of legal age throughout the world who are carrying out a project in favor of nature through a non-profit organization (foundation, association, NGO …) or on a personal basis, when the laws and regulations of their country prevent them from participating through a non-profit organization.
  • Candidates may not be members of the Yves Rocher Foundation, persons involved in the organization of this contest, or Groupe Rocher staff or employees.
  • Participation in the International Prize is limited to one entry per person (same first name and surname).

Application

The application form consists of the following:

  • A description of the candidate: photo, CV, commitment to the environment.
  • A description of the support structure for the action (if applicable): its team, partners, network, and any subsidies.
  • A description of the project and the candidate’s action in favor of the environment: the detailed object, the location (on map), the history and the concrete achievements, the outlook, the budget (in table form), photos of the action.
