1. Commonwealth Shared Scholarships 2025-2026 for Masters Study in the UK (Fully- Funded)

The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship programme is one of three Master’s programmes offered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission. The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) provides the UK government scholarship scheme led by international development Objectives.

12. Ghent University Special Research Fund – Doctoral Scholarships 2025

With support from its “Special Research Fund” (BOF) Ghent University grants PhD “sandwich” scholarships to promising PhD students from Global South countries who wish to carry out half of their PhD research at Ghent University (‘North’) and half at a university in the Global South (‘South’). Ghent University only finances the part of the research that will be carried out in Ghent (24 months). The candidate must have full-time funding for the other 24 months of research to be carried out in the South.

13. VLIRUOS ICP Connect Study Scholarship 2025

ICP Connect study programmes are accredited international study programmes. They award scholarships to applicants from 30 eligible countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America to attend one of the study programmes taught in English at one or more Flemish universities or universities of applied sciences and arts. 14. DAAD University Summer Courses 2024/2025 (Funded) 

This programme aims to deepen knowledge of the German language (general language, technical language) and regional studies. The courses have a duration of at least 18 teaching days (max. 5 days/week, excluding arrival and departure days) with at least 25 teaching hours per week each. The courses usually take place between the months of June and September.

15. ANSO-CAS-TWAS/UNESCO PhD Scholarship 2024-2025 (Funded) 

According to an agreement between the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS/UNESCO) for the advancement of science in developing countries, up to 40 students/scholars from developing countries will be sponsored to study in China for doctoral degrees for up to 4 years.

16. Frances A Yates Long-Term Fellowships 2025.

Each year the Institute offers post-doctoral long-term Yates Fellowships to support research on projects on any aspect of cultural, intellectual or art history supported by the resources of the Institute’s Library, Photographic Collection or Archive. The awards provide financial support towards living and subsistence costs in London for nine to twelve months.
