Team Up for Climate 2025 Challenge for Students and Young Graduates (Win a trip to Paris and a share of €30,000)

Egis Foundation is launching the Team up for Climate 2025 Challenge. Each year since 2022, students and young graduates from around the world come together in teams of 2 to 5 to come up with an innovative solution on the topic: adapting and living together in the face of climate risks.

As teams advance in the challenge, they gain access to a range of support to help shape their projects. This includes collective workshops training them on pitching, business models, and entrepreneurship as well as mentors paired with each teams, to focus on the technical aspects of their ideas and their impact on climate adaptation.

The top three teams will be awarded personal prizes, along with additional funding to help bring their projects to life during the first 6 months. Ready to make a difference? Take part in the transformation!

Prizes and Benefits

Cash pool to be shared : 30 000€

1st prize : 1000€/pers + Boost prize : 7000€

  • STUDY TRIP TO PARIS: 2 days of meeting with associations, academic and professionals to further develop the project.
  • COACHING: Individual project management and financial planning sessions with Makesense.
  • PHOTO PROJECT: Participation in an art project to be exhibited at the Photoclimat festival in 2025 in Paris.
  • PERSONAL PRIZE: €1,000 per team member

2nd prize : 750€/pers + Boost prize : 4000€

  • COACHING: Individual project management and financial planning sessions with Makesense.
  • PHOTO PROJECT: Participation in an art project to be exhibited at the Photoclimat festival in 2025 in Paris.
  • PERSONAL PRIZE: €750 per team member

3rd prize : 500€/pers + Boost prize : 3000€ –

  • COACHING: Individual project management and financial planning sessions with Makesense.
  • PHOTO PROJECT: Participation in an art project to be exhibited at the Photoclimat festival in 2025 in Paris.
  • PERSONAL PRIZE: €500 per team member
  • Coaching by makesense (workshop price) : 5000€

Categories

Imagine transforming a local area you know well, making it more resilient to climate change. Start by identifying the climate risks and vulnerabilities in that area. The more you understand what’s at stake, the better your solution will be. Your project can focus on one or more of these categories:

  • Inform & Raise Awareness
  • Anticipate & Repair
  • Protect

Eligibility

  • The EGIS challenge is open to students from all over the world and all disciplines!
  • Be at least eighteen (18) years and/or with full legal capacity
  • Be currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution or recently graduated from a post-secondary institution less than 2 years before the current scholar year, with a student card to prove it.
  • Each student may only participate once in the Challenge.
  • If the participant is a minor, you must provide an authorization signed by a parent or guardian in the name of the minor. This authorization is accessible through Parental Consent.
