Deadline: April 24, 2025

The International Olympic Committee is seeking expressions of interest from suitably skilled and experienced suppliers for the Athlete365 Business Accelerator Programme. This RFEI aims to identify potential suppliers who can contribute to the successful delivery of the said programme.

The Athlete365 Business Accelerator Programme, delivered via Athlete365, supports Olympians, Paralympians and elite athletes transitioning to life after sport that are interested in entrepreneurship. Leveraging their athletic experiences, the programme equips athletes with the skills, mentorship, and resources to build and scale their business ventures successfully.

The International Olympic Committee is seeking a Service Provider/Supplier to operate and enhance the Athlete365 Business Accelerator Programme by:

  • Programme Management & Delivery:
    • Seamless execution of learning pathways and mentorship component.
    • Regional customization for diverse athlete needs.
  • Entrepreneurial Support & Mentorship:
    • Availability of a global network of mentors and investors ready to support athletes in their entrepreneurship objectives.
    • Facilitate one-on-one coaching and peer networking.
  • Marketing & Athlete Engagement:
    • Create engaging content to amplify reach
    • Create understanding amongst athletes as to why they are well-suited as entrepreneurs
  • Sponsorship activation:
    • Collaborate with interested TOP Partners to integrate in the programme and engage with athletes providing their respective expertise.

Benefits

The Athlete365 Business Accelerator offers structured learning, mentorship, and practical guidance through:

  • Interactive Online Modules: Covering ideation, business fundamentals, financial planning, branding, marketing, leadership and an understanding of why athletes are well-suited for entrepreneurship. Modules are delivered via Athlete365 and accessible 24/7 on-demand.
  • Live Workshops: Across different time zones and languages to ensure global participation serving as a complement to the online modules.
  • Mentorship Opportunities: For those participants with successful applications, connections are provided to a network of business mentors and industry leaders when possible matching the athlete’s language and time zones.

Eligibility

Organisations applying to operate the Athlete365 Business Accelerator Programme should demonstrate expertise in the following areas:

  • Experience in delivering sports and entrepreneurship programmes.
  • Expertise in educational content creation and blended learning models.
  • Proficiency with digital platforms and analytics tools.
  • Capacity to deliver multilingual content (English, French, Spanish).
  • Strong marketing and communication skills to boost athlete engagement.

Application

Interested and suitably skilled suppliers should contact Rodrigo Garza at [email protected] to express their interest. Include a one-page outline of relevant expertise and return a signed version of the Confidentiality Agreement for RFP and International Olympic Committee (“IOC”) General Terms & Conditions of Purchase (GTC).
