Deadline: May 20, 2025
Applications for the Tech Equity Hub 2025 are now open. The Tech Equity Hub is a hybrid accelerator that provides a cohort of 8 to 10 Black and Latinx women founders the tools, resources, connections, and funding they need to scale successful tech companies.
For the program kickoff, Project W will bring all the founders together for an in-person workshop, teambuilding activities, and the opportunity to meet the Project W community. While the kickoff (Chicago) is a full-day, in-person gathering, the majority of the program consists of bi-weekly, virtual workshops and cohort community building events. Their expert faculty and accomplished mentors from all over the country will cover product design and development, marketing and sales, business strategy and finance, legal, fundraising, and leadership development.
The program consists of:
- In-person kickoff in Chicago
- 2 virtual workshops per week
- Community building activities (happy hour, fireside chat, investor roundtable)
- 1:1 coaching sessions throughout the duration of the program
Cost
- Travel expenses for the in-person portion will be covered by the program. While they understand unforeseen circumstances may arise, they expect participants to attend all in-person and virtual group sessions and take advantage of the 1:1 mentoring.
Eligibility
Open to Black and Latinx women founders who:
- Are building a technology solution to solve a big problem affecting people or our planet.
- Have demonstrated proof of concept for their solution.
- Are available to participate in the in-person kick-off in Chicago, two virtual sessions (workshops, mentor meetings, community events, etc.) each week, and the end-of-program celebration.
Application
They will invite a group of applicants to be interviewed and will select the cohort from that group. By June 1, they will notify all applicants whether they are invited to interview for the cohort.
