Deadline: June 19, 2025
Applications are open for the Climate Action Against Disinformation (CAAD) Fellowship on Countering Disinformation 2025. This fellowship supports grassroots organizers from the Global South who have experienced the impacts of online climate disinformation in their territories and want to explore those more deeply through research and storytelling.
Between June and December 2025, selected fellows will carry out localized research on specific cases of climate disinformation in their communities, with guidance and mentorship from the Climate Action Against Disinformation (CAAD) research team and Roots. The program will kick off with a one-week intensive training to build shared research skills among participants.
You don’t need academic experience — they value lived experience, curiosity, and commitment –but they do ask that you have a working proficiency in English and/or Spanish. If you have a powerful story to tell, and time to dedicate to this process, they would love to hear from you!
