Applications are open for the AUF Francophonie Prize 2025 for Young Researchers. The Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) is launching the twelfth edition of the Francophonie Prize for Young Researchers. This prize is open every two years and covers the following two disciplinary fields: Science and Technology and Humanities and Social Sciences.
The Francophonie Prize for Young Researchers aims to promote the merit and quality of the research work of four French-speaking researchers while taking into account the diversity of the French-speaking university space, particularly that of developing countries. This prize distinguishes researchers who have distinguished themselves in their field and have obtained scientific recognition for the significant advances made.
Award
- The winners will receive an official certification and a monetary endowment of €5,000 (five thousand euros) each, to encourage them to continue their activities.
The announcement and presentation of the 2025 Young Investigator Prize will take place during the 9th General Assembly and the 5th World Week of Scientific Francophonie (SMFS) to be held in Dakar (Senegal) from November 3 to 7, 2025.
Eligibility
- Applications must be submitted by a director (Rector, President, Director General, etc.) of the higher education and research institutions that are members of the AUF.
- The Prize is aimed at candidates who are 40 years old or younger on the closing date of the call for applications, who hold a doctorate, who can justify a significant and innovative research activity and who are affiliated with AUF member institutions.
