Applications are open for the Yiaga Africa Young Women in Politics Organising Lab 2025. Yiaga Africa, in partnership with WILAN Global and with support from GIZ, is excited to announce the ‘Young Women in Politics Organising Lab’ a leadership and organizing bootcamp designed to mobilize and support young women in politics with the skills and confidence to lead, mobilize, and campaign effectively.
The Young Women in Politics Organising Lab will take place in Lagos, Nigeria, as a 2-day leadership and training camp. One of the key outcomes will be to strengthen the capacity of young women-led civil society organizations dedicated to mobilizing and supporting young women in politics. The Labs will inspire and educate participants, equipping them with practical knowledge and organizing skills to run effective campaigns and build movements around issues that matter to them.
Following the Labs, participants will form a community of young women advocates, including those who have successfully navigated their political journeys. This network will encourage active participation in the electoral process and promote interest in political engagement.

Cost
Yiaga Africa will cover all costs associated with participation, including:
- Transportation (within Lagos State)

Eligibility
This program is designed for:
- Young female candidates contesting for legislative positions, female campaign managers and young female political party leaders.
- Young Women who are aged 18 to 45 years by July 2025.
- Passionate about meaningful political participation.
- Women living with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
