Deadline: July 28, 2025

Applications are open for the Jesi Young and Safe Scholarship – Cohort 3. Jesi Young and Safe Scholarship is a digital employability program developed to equip recent graduates and ambitious young people with the digital skills they need to thrive in today’s tech-driven world.

Through a blend of hands-on training and real-world projects, Jesi helps you grow both technically and personally; combining hard skills with essential soft skills like communication, collaboration, and problem-solving. From training to career support, Jesi is here to guide you every step of the way as you launch into the digital future.

Focus Areas

  • Software Development: Learn to build websites, applications, and digital tools from scratch using coding languages and frameworks. You’ll gain the technical foundation to work as a web developer, app builder, or software engineer and you’ll create real projects to showcase your skills.
  • Digital Marketing: Understand how brands grow online through social media, SEO, email marketing, and content strategy. This track teaches you how to attract, engage, and convert audiences. These are skills every modern business needs.
  • Product Design: Master the art of designing user-friendly digital experiences. From wireframes to user interfaces, you’ll learn how to create intuitive, visually appealing apps and websites using industry tools like Figma and design thinking principles.
  • Data Analytics: Explore the world of data and learn how to analyze, interpret, and tell stories with numbers. You’ll explore tools like Python, Excel, and data visualization techniques to make better decisions and uncover insights that drive impact.

Benefits

As a Jesi Young and Safe Scholarship recipient, you’ll gain:

  • A Fully Funded Tech Education: You will receive full access at no cost to one of Jesi’s career-focused learning tracks in Software Development, Product Design, Digital Marketing, or Data Analytics, allowing you to concentrate on building your skills without the burden of financial pressure.
  • Hands-On Experience That Prepares You for Real Jobs: You won’t just learn theory, you’ll work on real projects, solve real problems, and build a portfolio that shows what you can do. By the end of the program, you’ll be ready to take on real-world tech challenges with confidence.
  • Career and Internship Support: They don’t just train you and leave you hanging. Jesi helps you connect with real job and internship opportunities at tech companies, giving you a head start in Ghana’s growing tech ecosystem.
  • A Lifelong Tech Community: Jesi isn’t just a program, it’s a community of tech bros and sis who grow, learn, and win together. Long after the scholarship ends, you’ll still have access to mentorship, learning opportunities, and a network that’s rooting for your success.

Eligibility

They are looking for passionate, curious, and committed young people who are ready to take their future into their own hands.

To be eligible for Jesi Cohort 3, you must:

  • Be between 18–25 years old;
  • Should be based in Ho or willing to relocate there for the duration of the Jesi scholarship;
  • Be currently unemployed, a recent SHS or university graduate, or actively looking for your next opportunity;
