Deadline: January 15, 2013
Women Deliver – a global advocacy organization is bringing together voices from around the world to call for action to improve the health and well-being of girls and women – is soliciting films, 25 minutes or less, of any genre, to screen in its Cinema Corner taking place at its 2013 Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from May 28-30, 2013.
The Cinema Corner is an exciting opportunity to share your work on a global platform, and film screenings will put a “face” to Women Deliver’s mission of reducing maternal mortality and improving access to reproductive health. The 2013 Cinema Corner will be curated by Lisa Russell, an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker who has produced films on issues such as maternal health, youth in conflict zones, the HIV/AIDS pandemic, food insecurity and many other global challenges.
Films that are selected for screening at the Cinema Corner will be eligible for various prizes and accolades.
