The UK’s Department for International Development is working with the British Council to implement the Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme (NSRP). They are now looking for suitably qualified individuals to complement the existing team and to fill the following posts:
- Resources Manager – Abuja
- Grants Manager-Abuja
- Grant Officer – Abuja
The Resources Manager, Grants Manager and Grants Officer will be based in Abuja though will be required to travel to NSRP regional offices.
Responsibilities
1. Resources Manager – Abuja
The main duties will include:
- To manage all aspects of the programme resources function (programme offices, residences, inventories and vehicle fleet)
- To manage and quality assure all aspects of programme procurements and disposal. To quality assure the list of programme vendors
- To manage key business processes for NSRP, including business continuity, staff and next-of-kin lists
- Responsible for managing the Resources Officer and the programme vehicle fleet.
2. Grants Manager – Abuja
The main duties will include:
- To develop and manage the grant management system and to set up its operating procedures; including the finalization of the NSRP grants management manual.
- To manage the grant selection process and ensure eligibility requirements are met by prospective grant recipients
- To manage the process of supporting grant recipients to follow and fulfil requirements in grant implementation and to strengthen their financial management capacity for grant management
- To ensure adequate monitoring of grant recipients to ensure that grant use is in compliance with signed grant
- To Manage and maintain NSRP grants database
- To manage and support the Grants Officer
3. Grants Officer – Abuja
Main duties will include:
- To support the development of the grant management system and its operating procedures
- To support the Grants Manager in working with grant recipients to ensure they follow and fulfil requirements in grant implementation and to strengthen their capacity for grant management
- To support the grant selection process and ensure eligibility requirements are met by prospective grant recipients
- To ensure adequate monitoring of grant recipients with the Grants Manager
- To maintain the grant database.
