2014 Watson Scholars Program for Student Innovators, Leaders & Entrepreneurs (Scholarships Available)
Deadline: October 21, 2013
Calling all student innovators, leaders, entrepreneurs, and dreamers: Applications are open for the Spring 2014 semester at Watson. The theme of the application is: Creating the Future.
Watson is a semester long accelerator for university-level student innovators, leaders, and entrepreneurs. Once accepted, Scholars from across the world are convened for a full semester at Watson in Boulder, Colorado. Scholars complete award winning training inspired by Transformative Action Institute; enroll in Master Courses from the world’s foremost leaders, entrepreneurs, and practitioners; and pilot their ideas in the Watson Laboratory where Scholars receive mentorship, coaching and connections to partners, funders, and advisors.
Full and partial scholarships for tuition and housing, as well as innovative financial assistance options are available from Watson. If a student is accepted as one of the 15-20 Scholars after completing the competitive application process, Watson is committed to ensuring he or she can afford Watson regardless of financial ability. Watson is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
Scholars come away from Watson with:
- An accelerated project or venture and a sophisticated blueprint of action,
- The skills needed to advance their ideas,
- Partnerships with leading mentors, funders, and organizations to support and advise them along the way, and
- Lasting relationships with fellow Watson Scholars from across the world.
Applications are open to student innovators, leaders, entrepreneurs, and dreamers who are driven to explore their passions and create ideas to make the world a better place.
NOTE: Early application deadline (preferred admission): October 21. Final deadline: November 15, 2013.
