As a Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) 2014 Country Partner, your organization will have access to an international platform, www.GYSD.org, to raise awareness of your organization and the important work you do, engage more young people in service, and recognize youth for improving their communities.
Join more than 900 organizations from around the world in leading the youth service movement as part of the Global Youth Service Network. Receive comprehensive resources and technical assistance to help you build capacity and make a significant impact on GYSD.
Criteria
- Organizations that have the ability to mobilize at least 100 youth (ages 5 to 25) in youth-led community service projects
- Your organization will organize celebration events on Global Youth Service Day, April 11-13, 2014. Additional responsibilities include promoting Global Youth Service Day, engaging local media, coordinating project and celebration event registrations on www.GYSD.org, and reporting the impact of your Global Youth Service Day activities.
