The New School Competition – Win a Scholarship to Study in New York City

Students and young professionals worldwide are invited to enter The New School Competition. This is a amazing opportunity to win a full tuition scholarship for a Bachelor’s Degree at a prestigious University in New York! The New School Competition enables students win a scholarship for a bachelor’s program in art and design, music, the liberal arts or drama from The New School in New York City. The scholarship covers tuition and fee charges only.

Prizes

  • One full and one partial scholarship for a bachelor’s program to each of five participating divisions at The New School

1st Prize

  • Full scholarship for a bachelor’s degree program at one of the five participating divisions of The New School. The scholarship covers 100% of tuition and mandatory fees for all credits necessary for the student to complete his/her degree.
  • Winner’s certificate

2nd Prize

  • Partial scholarship for a bachelor’s degree program at one of the five participating divisions of The New School. The scholarship covers 50% of tuition and mandatory fees for all credits necessary for the student to complete his/her degree.
  • Winner’s certificate

Additional prizes

  • Join the fun and see how you measure up! For high school students graduating after June 2014, an iPad Mini will be awarded to one outstanding entry at each of the five participating schools.
  • Winner’s certificate

Eligibility

Open to all high school students and college students interested in applying or transferring to one of the five participating divisions at The New School. Scholarship winners must be a high school graduate on or before June 2014. Apple iPad Mini winners must graduate after June 2014.

In order to be selected as a finalist for the scholarship, the participant needs to submit a full application to the chosen school and program. To claim the scholarship prize, the winner needs to fulfill the enrollment requirements set by each school and be accepted by the Admission Committee.

How to Apply

  • Read the competition instructions.
  • Complete the challenge no later than 1 February, 2014.
  • Apply to The New School and your chosen school and program online no later than 1 February, 2014. http://www.newschool.edu/admission/
