The University of West London, UK, invites applications for the Nigerian Ambassador Scholarship which recognizes and providdes financial support for outstanding Nigerian students.
Two Nigerian students who are starting an undrgraduate or postgraduate programme at the University of West London in September 2014 will be awarded scholarships.
Benefits:
- Each scholarship is worth £5000 for one year of study and will take form in a tuition fee reduction.
- The average undergraduate fee is £9950 and postgraduate is £10,450, making it around 50% of your tuition fee.
Eligibility:
- Open to outstanding Nigerian students
- Students are eligible to apply for this scholarship in any of the following academic departments; Art, Design & Media, Business, Computing & Technology, Hospitality & Tourism, Law, Music, Nursing & Midwifery and psychology, Social work and Human Science.
Judging criteria:
The scholarship will be evealuated based on the following;
- academic merit
- completed application form
- short essays required in the application form
Application process:
- To apply for the award, applicants must complete the application form
- you will also need to provide;
- academic transcripts including certificate
- WAEC certificate with a minimium of C6 in English
- a personal statement explaining why you are suitable for the course
- two professional and/or academic reference
- a copy of any other supporting documents
