Send applications now for an International Workshop for Young journalists. This is a five-day workshop that will provide media training to aspiring young journalists from the Visegrad Four countries (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, and Hungary), utilizing Embassy Bratislava’s network of senior alumni active in the field, as well as US experts.
The purpose of the program is to provide students with an interest in journalism an opportunity to improve their writing and reporting skills through a series of workshops, lectures, and debates with experienced journalists. The program will include a writing lab and video reporting lab, and will be in English. Knowledge acquired during the conference will be utilized to produce a final written product presented on the last day of the conference.
Costs
Travel and accommodation costs, as well as breakfasts and working lunches will be covered for the selected participants throughout the whole conference.
Eligibility
- Open to students between 18-24 years.
- Applicants should be from Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland.
