Budding engineers can compete to win a travel grant for a visit to the University of Strathclyde International Study Centre in Glasgow. The centre provides specialist degree preparation for international students as well as programmes designed to provide you with the best opportunity to succeed when you progress onto a degree programme at the University.
The University’s Faculty of Engineering is the biggest in Scotland. They’re also one of the largest, best-equipped engineering faculties in the UK and are home to over 5,000 students from 100 countries.
Eligibility
- Participants must be non EU/UK students.
- Participants must complete the competition AND apply directly to an engineering programme at Strathclyde.
- If applying for the UG Foundation, the winner needs to have completed high school.
- If applying for the Pre-Master’s Programme, the winner needs to have a recognised degree in related field.

Study trip to Glasgow for a selected eligible participant
How to Apply
You will need to enter the competition online, answering 14 timed questions on engineering. A motivational statement and completed application form is also required.
