Youth for Exchange and Understanding invites participants to apply for its training course on ‘Open Agenda – The floor is yours!’. The main aim of the training course “Open Agenda: The floor is yours” is to discover and implement an innovative approach in non-formal education and to reinforce the elements of self-directed learning, learner centred and participant’s needs based educational activities.
The main idea of the training course is to offer a safe space where both participants and trainer/facilitators will be pushed in their stretching zone. On one side the participants will be responsible by their own for their learning needs to develop a programme/process in which they will be able to learn as much as possible considering the knowledge and experience in the group. On the other side the trainers that will have to follow a process which will be entirely driven by the needs of the participants and will have to be able to provide a structured model for observing, reflection and facilitation
Training Dates & Locations
Dates of training course: April 05-10th 2017 (travel days are NOT included).
Place: Sremski Karlovci (near Novi Sad), Serbia
Eligibility/ Selection Criteria
Training course is open for participants coming from Member States of Council of Europe.
- Competence in working with young people – solid professional experience in training and international and intercultural youth work matters
- Educational competence – the ability to prepare, organise, run and evaluate the activity
- Team competence – the ability to work in and lead an international team
- Motivation to be part of the training
- Commitment to engage throughout the whole process
Financial Support
YEU will cover food and accommodation. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to 70% of costs up to the travel limit maximum set by YEU. Visa costs will be reimbursed 100%. All the reimbursements will be done only by bank transfer and after receipt of original invoices and boarding passes.
