Applications are open for the Startup of the Year Africa Award 2018. The Award is an international innovative competition created by Bonjour idée with the support of 70 partners (major business groups, incubators, chambers of commerce, media, competitiveness clusters, influential blogs). While shedding light on disruptive startups, this contest is meant to add value to the partners’ actions at the heart of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of innovation and startups, and put them in contact with innovative startups.

Startup.info is the first collaborative magazine which refers to startups with more than 100k unique visitors per month. Besides their media activities (Advertisment, contents publishing, publicity editorial), they put in touch startups from their database with major groups and institutions in the context of its open innovation programs or digital transformation.

Eligibility

  • Company must be officially registered;
  • Must be based in Africa to be named “African Startup of Year”;
  • No geographical restriction for other awards;
  • Company must have been created after January 1, 2010;
  • Your product or service must be innovative;
  • You should have a running MVP or prototype.
