Deadline: January 7, 2018

How about growing your business and impact in sustainable tourism? Are you an early-stage startup, apply for the 3-day Booster Lab in Tel Aviv! Are you a later-stage startup, apply to join the Booking Booster in Amsterdam, a 3-week accelerator and chance to pitch for grants of up to €500,000!

This year Booking. com launched the Booking Booster Programme, which brought 10 top scale-ups to Amsterdam in order to support the development of their businesses and growth plans over the course of three intensive weeks. With their new Booster Labs, they are taking their Booking Booster on the road – with programmes taking place in Europe, Asia, the Middle-East and North America – in order to support early startups in a condensed weekend format.

They believe that by supporting startups and scale-ups at different stages in their journeys and by offering the right kind of guidance and assistance when they need it most, they can work together toward a more sustainable future for the global tourism industry.

Tourism has delivered enormous benefits to communities all over the world. It has helped bring millions out of poverty and contributed to increased understanding between diverse people and cultures in every corner of the globe. Because they want to ensure it continues to do so in the future, they’re looking for:

  • Ventures that are supporting local communities in the tourism industry
  • Businesses that help relieve pressure on overcrowded tourist areas
  • Startups that positively impact the environment.

Programmes

Booking Booster:

A three-week accelerator programme for scale-ups dedicated to sustainable tourism, culminating in an opportunity to pitch for grants of up to €500,000. The Booster Programme has been designed by Booking.com in collaboration with sustainable tourism and business growth experts.  The programme is filled with insightful workshops, opportunities for personal growth and of course, time to connect. Between eight and twelve startups will be selected to spend three weeks at Booking.com headquarters in Amsterdam in May 2018.

Are you a later stage startup that’s ready to scale your impact? Apply to the Booking Booster, a three-week growth accelerator programme, and compete for a chance to receive a grant of up to €500,000 to promote sustainable tourism.

Booking Booster Labs:

Weekend programmes for early-stage startups in sustainable tourism, focused on exploring experimentation and growth hacking initiatives together with Booking.com experts, including a chance to pitch for grants of up to €25,000. The Booster Lab will take place in Tel Aviv, Israel, from March 6-8. Ten to fifteen early-stage startups will be invited to take part in hands-on workshops, attend insightful talks and keynotes, and have some fun too! The weekend will culminate in a pitch on the startup’s roadmap and impact before an expert jury with the chance to win grants between €10,000 and € 25,000, as well as other prizes.

Are you an early-stage startup in sustainable tourism? Apply for the Booster Labs, 3-day programmes focused on experimentation and growth, as well as a chance to compete for a grants of up to €25,000.
