Are you fighting climate change in Africa using new technology? Submit videos that showcase your activities to combat climate change using technology and new approaches for the tvebiomovies African Tech for Good Competition 2018. As in much of the world, Africa is facing a number of challenges, including changes to climate and weather patterns. Many countries and particular regions are facing problems with drought and food security.
As the growth in internet use continues across Africa and the spread of technology grows wider, people are increasingly turning to technology to find ways of tackling these problems. There are many inspiring stories of success available across the continent. tvebiomovies want to see short 3 minute video diaries showing how groups and organisations are using technology to fight climate change and work towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
Prizes
- Five winners will each receive a cash prize of $500 USD
- 10-20 top ideas will feature in the tvebiomovies Case Study library
Eligibility
- Your video must be a maximum of three minutes
- You must be resident in Africa
- Your video must be in English or have English subtitles
