Applications are open for the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards 2020. Created in 1998, the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards identify and support eminent women in science throughout the world.
Each year, five Laureates are recognized for their contributions to the advancement of science, in Life Sciences or Physical Science, Mathematics and Computer Science in alternating years. The 2020 Awards will designate five outstanding women researchers in the Life Sciences, each working in one of the following regions: Africa and the Arab States, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America & North America.
Award
- The Awards will be given on March 2020 in Paris to the five women selected by an international jury. Each Laureate will receive €100,000.
Eligibility
- Open to women researchers in the Life Sciences;
- Applicants should be working in one of the following regions: Africa and the Arab States, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America & North America.
