Maghreb Photography Awards (MPA) 2020 for Photographers Worldwide ($2,000 Cash prize)

Submit entries for the Maghreb Photography Awards (MPA) 2020. Do you have a photo project realized in one of the countries of the Arab Maghreb (Morocco, Mauritania, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya), or in one of the following islamic regions: Egypt, Middle-East, Turkey or Iran? Do not hesitate, take part in the contest and give your project a chance to be rewarded by professionals and to have a world exhibition.

The Maghreb Photography Awards create new opportunities to showcase the best photographic work and introduce leading talents to the world of contemporary photography. They celebrate creativity, ambition and support artists to develop and present their work through competition.

Prizes

  • Winner of the Maghreb photographer of the year:
    • $1,000 Cash Prize (delivered by Paypal transfer)
    • Projection of the photography project at photo festival
  • The best photo project from the Maghreb:
    • $500 Cash Prize (delivered by Paypal transfer)
    • Projection of the photography project at photo festival
  • The emerging talent of the year:
    • $250 Cash Prize (delivered by Paypal transfer)
    • Projection of the photography project at photo festival
  • The best photoproject outside Maghreb:
    • $150 Cash Prize (delivered by Paypal transfer)
  • The Maghreb photo of the year :
    • $100$ Cash Prize (delivered by Paypal transfer)
  • The photo out of Maghreb of the Year:
    • $50 Cash Prize (delivered by Paypal transfer)
  • For all winners:
    • Extensive press coverage
    • Publication of the winner’s work in a photo book dedicated to the Photography of Art and Author

Eligibility

  • Open to all amateur and professional photographers worldwide.
  • Entrants should be at least 18 years old at the date of entry.

Entry Requirements

  • Image files should be uploaded to the site as JPG with 900 pixels along the longest length (minimum 400px) and 72dpi. Please do not include watermarks, borders or signatures on your entry.

Judging

Entries will be judged by a nominated jury. A panel of experts in photography will each review all entries and select a group of winning entries on the basis of creativity, artistic merit, subject and style.

Individuals whose images are selected as award winners will be contacted between July 15 and August 30, 2020 and asked to provide a high resolution image of at least 2000px wide. This file will be used only to prove the ownership of the image.
