Deadline: April 30, 2022
Applications are open for the WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Youth Award 2022. The WIN WIN Youth Award is an international award that aims to empower and reward young people who play an active role in the creation of a more sustainable future.
You now have the possibility to nominate a person or an organisation for the WIN WIN Youth Award between the ages of 13 to 29, whose aquaculture initiative could contribute to increased efficiency and sustainability, and thereby also toward one or more of the UN’s global goals.
Theme 2022: SUSTAINABLE AQUACULTURE
Today, the world’s food production is responsible for around 25% of all greenhouse gas emissions and is the primary reason for the loss of biological diversity, deforestation and endangered fish stocks. To solve the world’s future food supply, we need to look into the possibilities – and challenges – that blue and green foods can provide.
Applicants to the WIN WIN Youth Award should present a recent or ongoing project/work/initiative contributing to sustainable aquaculture and be between 13 to 29 years old.
