The United Kingdom is renowned for its excellent higher education system, with some of the world’s most prestigious universities. The UK has an abundance of scholarships for international students who wish to study at the undergraduate or graduate level. With September 2023 admission just around the corner, here is a list of UK scholarships currently open.
1. British Council Great Scholarship 2023
The British Council Great Scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship available to citizens of eligible countries, including China, India, and Pakistan. The scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses, and a return flight ticket to the UK. It is a joint initiative between the British Council and UK universities to offer scholarships to international students who wish to pursue a Master’s degree in the UK.

2. Reach Oxford Scholarship 2023
The Reach Oxford Scholarship is available to students from low-income backgrounds who wish to study at the University of Oxford. The scholarship covers tuition fees and living expenses for the duration of the course.

3. Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme 2023
The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme is available to students from developing Commonwealth countries who wish to study at UK universities. The scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses, and a return flight ticket to the UK.

4. Developing Solutions Scholarship at the University of Nottingham
The Developing Solutions Scholarship is a full scholarship that covers tuition fees and living expenses for international students who wish to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Nottingham. The scholarship is available for students from Africa, India, or one of the Commonwealth countries.

5. UAL International Postgraduate £50,000 Scholarship and Accommodation Award
The University of the Arts London (UAL) is offering a scholarship worth £50,000 to an international student who wishes to pursue a postgraduate degree in any field at UAL. The scholarship also includes accommodation in one of UAL’s halls of residence.

6. Think Big Scholarship Award at the University of Bristol
The University of Bristol is offering the Think Big Scholarship Award to international students who wish to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the university. The scholarship is worth between £5,000 and £20,000 and is available for students from any country.

7. The Allan and Nesta Ferguson Scholarship at the University of East Anglia
The Allan and Nesta Ferguson Scholarship is available for international students who wish to pursue a Master’s degree in any field at the University of East Anglia. The scholarship covers tuition fees and living expenses for one academic year.

8. Future Leaders Postgraduate Scholarship
This scholarship provides funding towards tuition fees for international postgraduates studying management programs. Four scholarships of £13,000 and eight scholarships of £6,500 per year are available. These awards must be used towards the cost of tuition fees for a one-year Management related master’s program in the Business School.
