Applications are open for the 14th European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) Civil Society Prize 2023. The aim of the award is to raise awareness of the contribution that civil society can make to promoting a European identity and citizenship in a way that underpins the common values that are the foundation of European integration.
The 14th EESC civil society prize will reward effective, innovative and creative initiatives carried out on the territory of the EU which support people with mental health conditions and promote an environment fostering mental well-being on an individual or collective basis. The theme of the 14th EESC Civil Society Prize is Mental health.
Prize
- The prize has a total value of EUR 50,000 and can be shared among up to five winners.
Eligibility
Open to
- Civil society organisation officially registered within the EU;
- Natural person (EU citizen or third country national legally resident in the territory of the EU);
- Company or firm formed in accordance with the law of a Member State and with its registered office, central administration or principal place of business in the territory of the EU.
Application
The deadline for submitting applications is 30 September 2023, 10 am (CEST). Late applications will not be considered.
