Applications are open for the Women Digital Entrepreneurship Program (WDEP). This is a fully sponsored business growth initiative designed to equip WOMEN with digital skills, information and resources needed to START, GROW and MONETIZE a business. WDEP is an initiative of Access , with implementation from Nerdzfactory Foundation aimed at equipping business women with the skills for the digitization of their business processes and to further position their businesses for long-term market relevance and success.

About the program

The Women Digital Entrepreneurship Program {WDEP} is targeted towards existing and aspiring female entrepreneurs interested in learning and opportunities to grow an online business. The program objectives include, but are not limited to, encouraging more women to start an online business, promoting women’s entrepreneurship, closing the digital gender gap, and improving the economic outcomes of women.

Importantly, the program focuses on equipping participants with skills in digital business,  social media marketing, online business management, business pitching, bookkeeping and many more. For maximum impact the program will feature:

  • Women Digital Entrepreneurship Bootcamp (WDEB)
  • Women Digital Entrepreneurship Summit
  • Business Connect Webinar
  • Opportunity to pitch for a grant

The bootcamp, webinar and summit will equip participants with practical and hands-on knowledge, skills and resources that they need to launch and grow their businesses online. The program will close with a pitch/grant competition where the 3 top ideas/pitches from the bootcamp participants will be awarded prizes that will aid their businesses.

Program Details

Mode Of Learning: Hybrid/Blended Learning ( Physical And Virtual)
Venue of classes: Physical classes will be held at Nerdzfactory Company in Ogudu GRA, Lagos while virtual classes will hold on zoom.
Duration: 2 Weeks
Class starts: Monday 25th September 2023

Eligibility

  • Applicant must be a Nigerian Female Citizen
  • Unemployed and underemployed women
  • Applicant must be between ages 25-40 years
  • Minimum education levels of SSCE & OND
  • Applicant must have access to the internet
