Applications are open for the University of Bayreuth Centre of International Excellence “Alexander von Humboldt” Short Term Grants Programme 2024. The University of Bayreuth Centre of International Excellence “Alexander von Humboldt” promotes excellent research at the University of Bayreuth (UBT) and advances the internationalisation of research and networking with the best universities worldwide. The BHC is offering Short Term Grants for the year 2024.
The Bayreuth Humboldt Centre (BHC) supports academic exchange across existing boundaries: between disciplines, between different cultures and countries, between established and younger researchers. Applicants are encouraged to learn about the University of Bayreuth’s focus areas and research strengths.
Grants
- Short Term Grants (intended for stays of about 1-3 weeks duration) include the reimbursement of travel expenses between the home institution and Bayreuth as well as accommodation costs in Bayreuth.
- The costs will be refunded up to a maximum of €3,500. Short Term Grants are available to researchers regardless of their field of research.
Eligibility
- Open to individuals from abroad with challenging and innovative research projects of top academic quality through a highly competitive, strictly merit-based selection process. The all-important selection criteria are the academic excellence of both the applicant and the cooperative project.
