Deadline: March 31, 2025

Applications are open for the United Nations Reham Al-Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship 2025. The Reham al-Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship (RAF) invites talented young journalists from developing countries and economies in transition to apply for the 2025 programme. The four-week programme will take place in September and October 2025.

The RAF fellowship enables selected journalists to gain invaluable insights into the work of the Organization, enhancing their understanding and interest, and thereby allowing them to report accurately on UN priority issues in their own communities. The fellowship provides them opportunities to learn from UN speakers and media experts, as well as to meet with senior UN officials, to receive training, and to establish ties with UN offices to support their future reporting. Previous RAF fellows produced high-quality coverage of the UN General Assembly and related events and developed a diverse international network, positively impacting their careers.
