Deadline: June 5, 2025

Are you ready to impress me and become a catalyst for change? Apply for the BGV Emerging Leaders Fellowship – NYC & Philly 2025. The BGV Emerging Leaders Fellowship is a 12-week, fully virtual leadership development program designed for early to mid-stage entrepreneurs in New York City and Philadelphia.

This intensive experience is crafted by Black Girl Ventures (BGV), under the visionary leadership of Omi Bell, to expand your capacity as a founder and ecosystem leader, empowering you to drive access to community, capital, and capacity building in your market. Since 2016, BGV has funded over 300 women of color, hosted 50+ pitch programs in 20+ cities, and helped participants collectively generate more than $10M in revenue and support 3,000+ jobs. Now, at a pivotal moment for underrepresented founders, BGV’s Emerging Leaders Fellowship is your opportunity to join a movement focused on economic advancement and social justice for communities of color.

Benefits

  • Each participant will receive a $5,000 stipend plus other non-monetary gifts.

Eligibility

  • Be a business founder or ecosystem leader who lives and has a business based in New York City and Philadelphia.
  • Have been in business for at least one year.
  • Be generating revenue.
  • Have interest in developing as a leader in your ecosystem.
  • Have at least 1 team member (who can assist business operations while founder is in program).
  • Have the ability to commit to approximately 4 hours per week (48 hours through total program, to include Jetpack for Leaders + self-directed study).
  • Have a passion for empowering and building ecosystems for Black and Brown women founders in their community.
