Scholarship to attend Trust Women Conference 2015 in London

Applications are now open for the Trust Women Scholarship Programme to enable leading women’s rights experts from across the world to attend the 2015 Trust Women conference. The Trust Women Scholarship is part of the Trust Women Conference, hosted by the Thomson Reuters Foundation on 17-18 November 2015 in London, United Kingdom. The annual event brings together global corporations, lawyers, government representatives, and pioneers in the field of women’s rights and anti-slavery.

Scholarships

The Thomson Reuters Foundation and the sponsors of Trust Women will award up to 50 scholarships to exceptional applicants from across the world. Attending the Trust Women Conference as a scholarship winner is an exciting opportunity. It provides beneficiaries and their respective organisations with a global platform for action.

Scholarships will include:

  • Free attendance at the Trust Women Conference, 17-18 November 2015, London, United Kingdom
  • Financial bursary to support travel and accommodation costs (up to £1,000).
  • Biography in the Trust Women Conference booklet
  • Membership Trust Women scholarship alumni network

For global leaders who want to connect and take action, the prestigious Trust Women Scholarship Programme offers access to an influential gathering of NGOs, heads of corporations, lawyers, public servants and philanthropists from around the world.

Scholarships will be awarded at three levels:

  1. Ticket Only: Free admission to Trust Women
  2. Partial Scholarship: £500 bursary for travel and accommodation, and free admission to Trust Women
  3. Full Scholarship: £1,000 bursary for travel and accommodation and free admission to Trust Women

Eligibility

  • The Trust Women Scholarship Programme is open to all applicants working in the areas of women’s rights, education, human trafficking and modern-day slavery.
  • Priority will be given to applicants from developing countries who will demonstrate their participation at Trust Women will enhance their work in their own communities.

How to apply

  • Scholarship applications will be open until June 23 2015.
  • Applications can only be received online. Please complete the application in English only.
  • All applicants will be notified by early August.
