Applications for the 4th #ECOKOSOVO Photography Competition 2023 are now open. UNDP in partnership with WHO, and UNV in Kosovo offices, through the Healthier Kosovo 2 Project, generously funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, have launched the 4th edition of the #ECOKOSOVO Photography Competition.
Just like the previous campaigns, this year’s aims to showcase inspirational environmental and health photography across Kosovo. As nature cannot wait any longer, the time is NOW to act, and what can be more profound, with the power to educate and inspire action more than a good picture?
Theme
Under the theme of ‘Now, so that nature is not gone!’ UNDP Kosovo invites professional and non-professional photographers, explorers, and adventure travelers across Kosovo, to be part of the competition, showcasing the urgency of the situation and galvanizing everyone into action.
Eligibility
- Open to professional and non-professional photographers, explorers, and adventure travelers across Kosovo.
Selection Criteria
The winning photographs will be selected based on artistic expression, creativity, originality, and prizes will be awarded to the most powerful ones. The winners will be announced on EcoKosovo social media platforms after the call closes, so stay tuned!
Application
Participants should take a high-quality photo of the nature, the greenery and the amazing variety of wildlife that makes the Earth livable; the nature’s struggle with climate change and human activities; the way they imagine their world without all the landscapes and wildlife would be like, and post it on their social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, with a meaningful and heartfelt message, mentioning #ecokosovo4 and tagging @ecokosovo and @undp.kosovo.
Participants who submit their photos by November 30, 2023 have the opportunity to win one of three prizes.
