Health Wildcatters Accelerator Program 2024

Applications are open for the Health Wildcatters Accelerator Program 2024. Health Wildcatters was founded in 2013 to address the need for a health innovation hub in the burgeoning Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex healthcare industry.

Since its inception the Health Wildcatters portfolio has grown to 109 startups who have raised over $250 million. Health Wildcatters provides a seed investment, in-kind perks and a vast network of mentors comprised of well over 200 individuals spanning the healthcare industry, professional services and many other verticals. 

In a nutshell, 8 to 12 startups will join the accelerator program annually and participate in the ten-week program from September to November. The startup will receive an investment from organisers and many in-kind perks.

Benefits

  • They offer $30,000 cash and a program valued above $200,000 per spot for eight percent equity and opportunities for follow on and convertible note investments to total a maximum potential cash investment of $380k in addition to the value of the program.
  • The Health Wildcatters mentor network is vast and comprised of well over 200 individuals spanning the healthcare industry, professional services and many other verticals. During the accelerator, startups are connected to this mentor network who in turn provide advice and counsel as well as open up their own personal networks to propel your business forward.

Eligibility

  • Open to healthcare entrepreneurs.
  • Startups should be based in the U.S. and applicants must take part in all activities of the program.

Application

The 12- week fall program begins in early September and ends mid-November. They offer a hybrid program, with the ability to participate in person or virtually.
