Applications are open for the Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN) Prize for Innovation 2025. The FMN Prize for Innovation is a social impact initiative established by Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc (FMN) to encourage new ideas in food production, innovation and engineering and how these can enable a sustainable food system in Nigeria.
Every year, the prize will focus on an important aspect of the food value chain that they believe is critical to transforming and sustainable development of the country’s food systems. This year, the FMN Prize for Innovation (FMN PFI) is looking for big ideas, technology-powered solutions, and simple yet ingenious Innovative practices in Livestock farming in Nigeria.

Prizes
- Category 1: Successful candidates in this category will be invited to pitch their ideas in front of live judges who will award the winner the prize of N5 million.
- Category 2: Successful candidates in this category will win:
- 1st Prize: N500,000
- 2nd Prize: N300,000
- 3rd Prize: N200,000
Eligibility
- Catergory 1: For registered Nigerian SMEs in the Food and Agro-Aillied Sector.
- Category 2: For students with innovative ideas to transform livestock farming in Nigeria.
