Applications are open for the Microsoft Scholarship Program for Women Pursuing STEM Careers 2025. Microsoft is committed to empowering the next generation of women and non-binary leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM). The Women at Microsoft Scholarship program is designed to provide financial assistance and support to graduating high school seniors pursuing undergraduate degrees in technology-related fields.

This is your opportunity to turn your academic dreams into reality with the backing of a global technology leader! Microsoft recognizes the importance of diversity and inclusion in STEAM fields. That’s why they are offering a unique scholarship opportunity to help talented individuals achieve their educational and career aspirations.

Scholarship

  • WAM will award 26 one-time awards of $5,000 USD. 

Eligibility

Applicants to the Women at Microsoft scholarship must:

  • Be a graduating high school senior.
  • Self-identify as a woman, non-binary, gender fluid or transgender woman.
  • Plan to enroll full-time in a technology, engineering, math, or computer science related undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school, in the United States, for the entire upcoming academic year. (International applicants are welcome to apply if they will attend school in the United States.)​
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent.

Application

As part of the application process, you will be asked to submit the following: 

  • One letter of recommendation 
  • Transcript 
  • Statement of career and educational goals and objectives 

Applications will be submitted via the Scholarship America Hub.
