Applications are open for the Leading Change Africa Virtual Leadership Academy 2025. The Leadership Academy Program equips post-secondary students and young professionals across Africa with leadership, personal, and professional development skills.
Through a three-month, self-paced model on the YAM.edu platform, participants engage in digital learning, peer collaboration, assignments, assessments, and virtual sessions with facilitator feedback. The program also features the Inspiring Journeys series, connecting youth with industry leaders who share real-world leadership insights. Designed to foster socially responsible leaders, this program prepares participants to drive meaningful change in their communities.
Program Objectives
- Develop transformative leadership skills among youth, focusing on personal and professional growth.
- Provide a blend of theoretical and practical learning experiences through self-paced modules and interactive sessions.
- Provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience to foster positive and long-lasting impact.

Eligibility
- Open to African youth aged 18–35 years old.
- Applicants must be citizens of an African nation.
- Must be passionate about leadership and personal development.
- Ability to fully participate in the three-month virtual program from April to June 2025.
- Must be proficient in English.
- Must have access to an internet enabled device (laptop or smartphone) as well as access to the internet.
Application
The program runs for three months, from April to June 2025, with a combination of self-paced learning and bi-weekly virtual facilitated sessions.
