Deadline: April 24, 2025

Applications for the Rogers Youth Grants 2025 are now open. Rogers Youth Grants support Canadian community organizations that deliver educational and employment programs to youth ages 12-29.

Since the company was founded more than 60 years ago, their social impact programs have made meaningful and measurable impact in communities across the country. The Rogers Youth Grants has an open call for applications to registered Canadian charities and non-profits that deliver educational and employment programs across Canada to youth ages 12-29. They aim to prioritize youth who are furthest from opportunities due to socioeconomic and other barriers and partner with organizations that run programs that integrate education, mentorship and workforce development to empower underserved youth to achieve their full potential.

The following types of programs are eligible for funding:

  • Mentorship
  • Core academic training, facilitating academic achievement
  • Career readiness/jobs-based skills-building
  • Structured learning aimed at increasing the likelihood of pursuing higher education or employment

Grants

  • Rogers Youth Grants are valued at $10,000 or $25,000.

Eligibility

  • Organizations must be a charitable or non-profit organization.
  • Grants are intended to be for one-year (no multi-year agreements).
  • Organizations must have a sustained record of achievement and be in good financial standing.
  • Programs must have a measurable social impact and be focused on programs and projects rather than bricks and mortar.
  • Overhead costs for the organization must not exceed 30%.
  • Your application should be accompanied by your organization’s most recent audited financial statement conducted by a public accounting firm/professional (completed in the past two years).
  • If applying for a $10,000 grant, your program must impact a minimum of 75 youth. If applying for a $25,000 grant, your program must impact a minimum of 150 youth.
  • While they understand that addressing root causes like homelessness, food insecurity, and mental health are essential and deeply interconnected with lack of access to education and employment, the programs they look to fund should primarily focus on education and job training.

Application

The grants portal opened on March 24, 2025, at 9 am EST, and will close on April 24, 2025, at 5 pm EST. They invite interested organizations to submit applications for funding consideration during this period.
