Deadline: May 2, 2025

Applications are open for the Button Equity Scholarship 2025. The Button Equity Scholarship exists to increase diversity, inclusivity, and equity for the event audiences. Conferences don’t just reflect the communities they represent. They actively shape them.

Northeastern University Global Study Expo 2026

Button founded the Button Equity Scholarship program to help build a more diverse, inclusive community. These scholarships allow them to expand the Button audience to include people whose experiences are marginalized due to systemic oppression and exclusion, as well as to individuals residing in a Low-Income country.

Benefits

  • Applicants for a scholarship to the Button 2025 conference will receive an individual pass that provides all-access to the live Button event, recordings, and swag.

Eligibility

You are welcome to apply for a scholarship if you meet one or more of these criteria:

  • You are a Black person.
  • You are a person of color.
  • You are an Indigenous person.
  • You have a disability.
  • You identify as LGBTQIA+.
  • You have lost your source of income or are experiencing a financial crisis.
  • Your country’s currency and/or average wage make the cost of a conference ticket prohibitively expensive.

They will award scholarships based on need, impact, and available funds. If they have more applications than scholarships, a diverse group of reviewers will assist in the selection process.
