Deadline: May 5, 2025

Applications are open for the KPMG AI & the Future of Work: Designing What Comes Next Challenge 2025. Artificial intelligence is transforming the world of work, not only by automating tasks, but by unlocking entirely new ways to collaborate, learn, and create value. This challenge is open to startups developing solutions that place people, their skills, roles, and experiences, at the center of AI-powered transformation.

They invite startups in Europe to build scalable, people-centric innovations that leverage AI to transform how we work, learn, and collaboration, from activation and upskilling to role redesign and workforce strategy.

Challenge Themes

Startups should address one or more of the following key themes:

  • Activation & Adoption: How can organizations move from isolated pilots to meaningful, enterprise-wide use of AI?
  • AI Upskilling: How can AI literacy and capability be made accessible across all levels of the workforce?
  • Role & Experience Redesign: How can AI enhance human roles, rather than replace them?
  • Workforce Shaping & Opportunity Mapping: How should companies rethink leadership, structures, and job models in an AI-enhanced economy?

Prizes

Winner will receive:

  • 4-day pass
  • Pitch session at Vivatech (expert jury) & cocktail
  • ½ day coaching session by KPMG
  • Ecosystem and networking opportunities

Two selected startups will receive:

  • 4-day pass
  • Pitch session at Vivatech & cocktail

Eligibility

  • You must address at least one of the four pillars of the challenge’s themes.
  • Demonstrated revenue model and at least two active clients.
  • Strong team with growth potential.
  • Solution adaptable across industries or markets.
  • Startup must be based in Europe.
