Deadline: June 6, 2025

The African Social Innovation Fellowship (ASIF) is proud to announce the launch of the ASIF Campus Enterprise Leadership Program (CELP) 2025, an exclusive initiative designed to equip influential student leaders in tertiary institutions across Nigeria with venture-building and portfolio management skills. This program seeks to harness the leadership capacity of Student Union executives, Faculty Presidents, and other campus influencers to drive entrepreneurship and innovation within their institutions.

With youth unemployment at an all-time high, Nigerian students need more than just academic knowledge—they need practical entrepreneurial skills to build sustainable businesses. The ASIF Campus Enterprise Leadership Program (CELP) is a transformative initiative targeting 50 highly influential student leaders who still have at least one academic session remaining in their institutions.

Participants will undergo an intensive two-week virtual training, followed by a three-day residential bootcamp, before leading the launch of Campus Entrepreneurship Hubs in their respective schools.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Training: Gain knowledge in venture building, startup scaling, and portfolio management.
  • Networking & Mentorship: Connect with top-tier industry professionals, investors, and fellow student leaders driving innovation.
  • Residential Bootcamp: A three-day intensive experience where selected participants engage in hands-on workshops and mentorship sessions.
  • Access to Funding & Resources: Receive exclusive access to business support services, tools, and resources to implement your learnings.
  • Campus Entrepreneurship Hubs: Graduates of the program will lead the launch of entrepreneurship hubs within their campuses, fostering innovation and startup growth.
  • Stipend for Hub Leaders: Student leaders who complete the program and successfully establish their Campus Entrepreneurship Hubs will receive a stipend to support their leadership efforts.
  • Pitching Opportunities: Participants will have the chance to pitch their ideas to potential investors and ecosystem enablers during the residential bootcamp.

Eligibility

To qualify for the program, applicants must:

  • Be an influential student leader, such as a Student Union President, Faculty President, or Head of a Student Organization.
  • Be enrolled in a recognized tertiary institution in Nigeria with at least one academic session left before graduation.
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in entrepreneurship, venture building, and ecosystem development.
  • Be available for the entire program duration, including virtual training and residential bootcamp.
  • Be willing to lead the establishment of a Campus Entrepreneurship Hub in their institution after the program.
  • For individuals with disabilities who require reasonable accommodation, kindly indicate during the application process to ensure we make adequate provisions.
