Applications for the Nature Canada Photo Contest 2025 are now open. Nature Canada’s annual Nature Photo Contest is a celebration of the plants and animals, landscapes, and nature moments that bring us joy and happiness. Their hope is to encourage more Canadians to get outdoors and to connect with nearby nature across the summer months. Canadian photographers across the country can submit their artwork for a chance to win prizes and be featured in the Nature Canada 2025 Calendar.

Embark on the adventure of a lifetime with Black Feather Wilderness Adventure Company!
- The 1st place winner will receive a gift certificate valued at aprox. $1,895 toward one of Black Feather’s unforgettable guided wilderness trips —either a sea kayak or canoe expedition to be held in 2026, such as the Georgian Bay Getaway Sea Kayak Adventure, or French River Canoe Trip, depending on the 2026 trip schedule.
Eligibility
- Open to Canadian photographers across the country.
- There is no limit as to the number of submissions by a single entrant.
Application
Make sure to always include the theme into which you would like to submit your photo! They would also love to hear the story behind the shot! Make sure to always identify yourself as either an Amateur, Professional, or Youth photographer. Make sure to include #NCPhotoContest25 when using social media.
