Deadline: August 22, 2025

The Nigerian Youth Solutions Report is an annual publication curated by SDSN Youth Nigeria to spotlight and amplify the voices, innovations, and solutions developed by young people across Nigeria that are addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

They are excited to launch the call for submissions for the 2025 edition, inviting youth-led innovations, projects, and initiatives that are transforming communities, solving real-life challenges, and advancing sustainable development in Nigeria.

About the Nigerian Youth Solutions Report

The report serves as a national repository of youth-led development solutions, showcasing stories of resilience, creativity, and impact from across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria. It is aimed at:

  • Highlighting scalable solutions by Nigerian youth tackling issues in education, health, environment, gender equality, agriculture, climate change, economic empowerment, and more.
  • Inspiring policy-makers, development organizations, donors, and the private sector to support youth-led actions.
  • Creating visibility and networking opportunities for young changemakers at the local, national, and international levels.

Eligibility

They welcome applications from:

  • Young Nigerians (aged 18–35) leading or co-leading solutions, startups, initiatives, or community-based projects aligned with one or more of the 17 SDGs.
  • Youth groups, student-led organizations, NGOs, social enterprises, and innovators working in rural or urban settings.
  • Teams or individuals with solutions at various stages – pilot, growth, or scale-up.

Application

Your submission should include:

  • A clear description of the solution/initiative (max 150 words)
  • The SDGs your work aligns with
  • The impact of the solution so far (qualitative or quantitative)
  • Pictures, links, and supporting documents (if available)
