HuCapital Innovation Week Pitch Competition 2025 ($5,000 prize)

Applications are open for the HuCapital Innovation Week Pitch Competition 2025. HuCapital Innovation Week is New York City’s premier event series for builders, creators, and industry leaders shaping the future of business through AI. Across five evenings, they spotlight industries such as finance, media, tech and healthcare, bringing together ambitious founders and innovators to co-create AI solutions with the potential to redefine entire sectors.

They close the week with their Pitch Competition and Afterparty! This is a live event where Shark Tank meets American Idol. Founders will pitch their startups in front of judges and a live audience. Judges will provide critiques, and the crowd will vote for the winner.

Prize

  • $5,000 cash award
  • A consultation with a VC sponsor, Visible Hands
  • A slot on the SEEN 50 (a list honoring fifty overlooked founders in NYC leading transformational tech startups, in partnership with the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce)

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be the founder or co-founder of the startup.
  • The product must be AI-powered or include AI functionality. Open to industries such as (but not limited to) media, finance, healthcare, beauty, consumer, and technology.
  • Open to early-stage founders with at least a functional MVP (minimum viable product).
  • Applicants must be based in the United States.
  • The award must be applied toward product development, marketing, operations, or another key area of growth.
  • Applicants must have a registered business entity (LLC, C-Corp, etc.).

Application

The deadline is Friday, October 3, 2025 at 11:59pm EST; Selected pitchers will be notified no later than Thursday, October 9, 2025.
