Applications are open for the Purolator Canada True North Small Business Grant 2025. Canada’s small businesses keep the country thriving. This grant is a way of recognizing their resilience and supporting their continued contribution to this nation. And, by encouraging Canadians to make nominations, Purolator Canada is hoping to raise the profiles of small businesses in local communities across the country.
Small businesses that are based in Canada, legally licensed or registered to operate in Canada, have 50 employees or less, and are in good financial standing (no petition in bankruptcy or insolvency) are eligible for nomination.
Benefits
The 2025 contest will award more than $150,000 in cash prizes, shipping credits, and gift cards to deserving businesses and nominators. Here’s what’s available:
- Five (5) Grant Prizes: $25,000 in cash plus $500 in Purolator shipping credits
- Thirty-three (33) Finalist Prizes: $500 Visa gift card each
- Twelve (12) Nominator Prizes: $500 Visa gift card each
In addition, two of the grant prizes and 13 of the finalist prizes will be reserved for Purolator customers.
Eligibility
To qualify for the Purolator True North Small Business Grant Contest, nominated businesses must:
- Be based in Canada and legally licensed or registered to operate in Canada.
- Have 50 employees or fewer at the time of nomination.
- Be in good financial standing.
Application
The process is simple and open to all Canadians:
- Nominate a small business by visiting the contest site.
- Share why they deserve recognition by crafting a unique and thoughtful submission.
- Submit before the deadline to be included in this year’s incredible contest.
