Applications are open for the Eisenhower Global Scholars Program 2026-2027. Eisenhower Fellowships identifies, empowers and connects innovative leaders through a transformative international experience and lifelong engagement in a global network of more than 2,600 dynamic change agents from 118 countries, committed to creating a world more peaceful, prosperous and just.
The Eisenhower Global Scholars Program will send four outstanding American university graduates abroad for the 2026-2027 academic year to prestigious universities in Europe for intensive study and hands-on work experience in two major areas:
- Master of Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford
- Master in International Relations at the IE School of Global & Public Affairs in Madrid
Benefits
- Each Eisenhower Scholar will spend a full academic year of postgraduate study leading to a Master’s Degree at either the University of Oxford or IE University in Madrid. Eisenhower Fellowships covers all major expenses.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents and have graduated from a four-year American university with a 3.7 Grade Point Average (out of 4.0) preferred.
- Candidates should demonstrate a track record of leadership and achievement and a commitment to tackling real world challenges though a concrete project idea.
- The preferred age range is 20 to 30.
- In addition to academic ability and achievement, applicants must demonstrate a high level of commitment to public service, as evidenced by their chosen career path in the public, private or non profit fields and/or an outstanding record of community service.
